good shredder for home and office

bought this few weeks back and working fine every day i am mainly using it to destroy bank papers and office documents it Cuts paper into very small pieces and no one can read it. its good like shredding 6 paper easily without any load and speed also fast but sound is bit high but its not that loud also dustbin is very large so its good for bunch of more papers. if paper get stucked we can have reverse button so paper come out easily and can put it again with forward or Auto mode so shredding cycle repeats. overall performance wise great machine of office and home use, value for money

Rip tear...throw?

Got it on July 2025 and it's going strong even now. One issue is the auto (shredder) option seems to have issues, it keeps running the shredder even though there are no papers to shred. I checked multiple times and there isn't anything stuck. But it is not a deal breaker though. It can shred papers, paper cards and credit cards (with some difficulty). Avoid plastic since it does not do much. It cuts off due to heat after continuous use of over 30min.

The media could not be loaded.\n Not working properly and overheated after shredding 1 sheet within15 days of purchase. Quality is not satisfied

Works well for my home office

so far, so good. ive shredded documents since few days, it was quick. this machine seems to be durable and reliable. ive also shredded multiple expired credit cards. very easy to use, quick plug and start, as quiet as a shredder can get. no jams yet. small and compact, can be stored with relative ease. I've never owned one before. Basic unit, easy to set up, just set the shredder on top of the wastebasket and plug it in. I only need occasional shredding in a home office, so this unit will probably work for me.

Not functioning properly

I have read the manual, set up the shredder, turned it to auto mode and the green light came on. Inserted several pieces of paper and it made a noise and stopped. It hadn't done anything to the paper. Tried one piece of paper, again 1 second of noise then nothing. The paper was A4 so was covering the sensor.Eventually I manage to get it to shred one piece of paper by continuously switching it between auto and forward. There was a small spark near the sensor area every time I changing it from one function to another (not sure if that's meant to happen as its a paper shredder). And to top it off, after finishing 1 piece of paper by switching between the settings there was a slight burning smell.
